This was the first track I recorded under this solo project. The "bass" line which isn't even a bass at all, along with the lyrics are the only structured parts of this track. The guitars and drums (apart from the last beat) are mostly improvised and were recorded on the first take.
I really think that this is the most raw and pure expression I can give off through the instruments. The lyrics were inspired by a vivid dream I had one night. I'm not very good at lyric writing but I really wanted to base a song off of a dream.
lyrics
Watch your step, 'cause the ground is alive
Watch your head, 'cause the sky is full of whales
Come with me, I'll take you home
Will you be beside me
When I wake up?
